Email Accounts
In case you have a domain and a hosting plan for it, you’ll be able to create mailboxes for personal or business purposes and to set them up with programs such as Thunderbird, Outlook or Apple Mail. During the process, you’ll be able to opt for one of the two most popular protocols – IMAP or POP3. The first one will allow you to view all messages, but they will remain on the mail server, while with the second one, all email messages will be downloaded onto the device where the email account is created, unless you explicitly choose a copy to be saved on the server. Thus, you can choose if you want all your email correspondence to be kept on one single device, or if you’d rather be able to access the email messages from different places. The second option is very useful for firms where a number of employees working on different machines need access to a given email account.
