NVMe
NVMe (nonvolatile memory express) is a new storage access and transport protocol for flash and next-generation solid-state drives (SSDs) that delivers the highest throughput and fastest response times yet for all types of enterprise workloads.
HDDs provide a Read/Write speed up to 150 mbps, while SDDs can take it up to 500 mbps.
NVMe SSDs attach directly to the high-performance PCIe interface, they can outperform even the SSDs by a substantial margin. Read/Write speeds can reach up to an average of 3500 mbps.
